Spent most of the week working on a boat made of that other material, that shall remain nameless in this shop (hint, it rhymes with viberplass). I’m doing it as a favor to a loyal customer, and I don’t want to talk about it. However, I ended the week trying to sort out the rigging on this vintage wood Flying Dutchman one design. I was aided by rigger extraordinaire George Moose from Fawcetts marine in Annapolis. I think we’re making headway, but she’s going to need mostly new running and standing rigging to be safe under sail.
