Imagine a razor sharp 10 inch blade spinning at over 3000 rotations per minute. Now imagine your fingers mere inches away from the blade, and you have table saw fun! Really, it’s a pretty safe tool if you give it some respect. Here’s a quick video of pushing the boundaries of table saw respect. I needed to thickness a table top I’m building, and this was the only way I could think of establishing a consistent measurement. I’ll be pleased if I never have to do this again.
